HHH Cleaning is a cleaning business based in Melbourne, Victoria. In this policy, we, us and our mean HHH Cleaning, and the website means hhh-cleaning.com.au.

When you send a quote or booking request through the website, we collect what you enter in the form:

• your name and phone number
• the address of the property to be cleaned
• the service you are asking about
• anything you write in the notes
• the options behind your online estimate, if you book from the end of lease calculator
• the language you used and the time you sent the request

You can choose not to give us these details, but without them we may not be able to quote for or book your clean.

If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp or Facebook instead, we receive whatever you choose to tell us, together with the phone number, email address or profile you contact us from.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health details, and we would rather you did not include any in your notes.

We use your information to:

• prepare your quote and send it to you
• arrange and carry out the clean you book
• contact you about your request or your booking
• keep the business records the law requires, such as invoices

We do not use your details to send you marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

We share your information only with:

• the cleaners and staff who quote for and carry out your job
• Vercel, which hosts the website
• Resend, which delivers the email that carries your request to us
• Google, which provides the email service we use (Gmail)
• a court, regulator or other authority, where the law requires us to

Vercel, Resend and Google may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

The website does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics tools.

If you use the cleaning checklist, your ticks are saved in your own browser so they are still there when you come back. They stay on your device and are never sent to us. You can clear them at any time with the Reset button on the checklist, or by clearing your browser data.

Like most websites, the servers that host this one automatically record technical details of each visit, such as the IP address, the browser type and the pages requested. Our hosting provider uses these records to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not use them to identify you.

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and requests sent through it arrive in our business email. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and only the people who need it to quote for and carry out your job can see it.

No way of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that it will never be intercepted.

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. After that we delete it.

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details at the end of this policy and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, and we may have to keep some records where the law requires it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
